Kunert Micro Net Hold-Ups Review by Diana

Watch Diana’s full review of the Kunert Micro Net Hold-Ups. These hold-up stockings in a fine, close-knit net pattern were sent to Diana for review, and she tried them across two different outfits to give a thorough assessment of how they look and feel in real-world wear.

The packaging makes a strong first impression, described as elegant with clear photography that lets you see the product before opening. Inside, the stockings themselves feature a fine micro mesh construction that Diana notes immediately reads as more refined than a wide-mesh fishnet. The net is dense and even, and the overall build of the stocking fabric looks and feels resistant.

The silicone-edged top band is satin in appearance and initially seemed like it might be comfortable. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the product’s main weakness. Diana found the band to be too tight and too rigid, pressing uncomfortably into the thigh throughout wear. She was candid that the elasticated top caused consistent irritation and that she was eager to take them off, estimating she would not want to wear them for more than a single evening.

Key observations from the review:

  • Fine micro mesh: looks more polished and elegant than wide fishnet, suitable for daytime and office wear
  • Satin top band: attractive in appearance but found to be too firm and tight in practice
  • Toe seam: a very fine seam runs along the toe area, with the rest of the foot left open, making them compatible with open-toed shoes
  • Size S: worked well for Diana at 167 cm, with good length coverage up to around 170 cm and above
  • Slimming effect: the tight mesh pattern visually narrows the leg and helps minimise the appearance of minor imperfections

Diana wore the stockings with two looks: a casual daytime outfit with shorts and a belt, and a smarter winter outfit with a gilet and sweater. She felt the micro net style adapted well to both, offering more versatility than a bold wide-mesh stocking, though she noted they are not excessively formal either.

On sizing, Diana confirmed she wore a size S and found the length entirely suitable. She mentions that the stockings should cover the leg comfortably even for taller wearers up to around 170 cm or slightly above.

In summary, Diana gave these hold-ups a mixed verdict. The stocking mesh itself is well made, looks elegant, and gives a flattering result on the leg. The significant drawback is the top band, which she found uncomfortably tight and stiff, making extended wear impractical. The net fabric is a clear highlight, but the hold-up band is a notable deterrent.
