The most distinctive feature of these hold-ups is their extra-wide lace band. Brunella notes that most hold-ups she has tried come with a relatively narrow silicone-edged band, so the noticeably taller welt on this pair immediately caught her attention when she inspected the packaging. The wider band also carries the usual silicone strip along its inner edge.
Putting them on proved straightforward. Brunella comments that they went on with very little effort and that the construction of the foot section makes heel placement easy to judge, which she credits as a genuine practical advantage over some other models she has reviewed.
Key observations from the review:
- Wide lace welt: significantly taller than average, adding a decorative element that Brunella feels complements an outfit rather than hiding under it
- Silicone grip band: runs along the inside of the welt and kept the stockings securely in place throughout sitting and movement

- No reinforced toe: the foot area uses the same sheer material throughout, with only a seam line visible on each side, which she finds visually appealing
- Soft handle: fabric feels reasonably soft to the touch, though she notes it is not exceptionally plush
On the comfort side, Brunella reports that the hold-ups felt very comfortable both walking and sitting. When seated with legs under tension she noticed no pinching or pulling at the welt, and the stockings stayed in position without slipping.
The one significant drawback Brunella raises is durability. Despite being careful when putting them on, she noticed runs appearing in one or more spots during the review. She is candid that she cannot be certain whether this was caused by her own handling or whether the fabric is simply prone to laddering, but she flags it as something to be aware of.
Overall Brunella gives a positive verdict, rating comfort and the distinctive wide welt as clear strengths. She suggests this style works well paired with a shorter dress for an evening look where the stockings are deliberately visible. The laddering issue leaves a small question mark over longevity, but she concludes that, given the runs appeared toward the lower leg and were not very conspicuous, the product earns a recommendation with that caveat noted.
