Watch Marla’s full review of the Fiore Fidele black patterned tights. In this Glamissima video review, Marla tests the fit, pattern placement, elasticity and overall comfort of this 20 denier model from the Polish brand Fiore.
The Fidele belongs to Fiore’s patterned line, and its defining feature sits entirely on the back of the leg: a faux zipper design that runs from top to bottom, built as a decorative seam with a small motif detail where it terminates. From the front the tights read as a plain, discreet sheer black pair, which makes the reveal from behind all the more effective.
Marla starts with the packaging. The classic cardboard box arrived slightly worn, most likely because retail labels had been peeled off it, but the inner sleeve holding the tights was completely sealed, so the product itself was untouched. On the back of the box she goes through the full size chart, confirming the pair on test: size 4, colour black, 20 denier.
Out of the packaging, her first impression is that the tights feel lighter than 20 denier would suggest. They are soft to the touch, with no reinforced toe and no visible panty boundary, which means the leg reads as uniformly sheer even under very short garments. She also flags the one practical rule with this model: they have to be put on the right way round, or the whole point of the design disappears against the front of the leg.
Key points from Marla’s test:
- 20 denier weight, sitting between an ultra-light sheer and a heavier opaque
- Faux zipper seam running the full length of the back of the leg
- Decorative motif detail at the top where the seam ends
- No reinforced toe, plain toe seam only
- No visible panty line, fully sheer appearance from top to bottom
- Soft, stretchy and easy to pull on, with no scratchy or stiff feel
Putting them on is where the pattern is tested. Marla works slowly and carefully, both to avoid catching them with her nails and to keep the back seam straight, which she admits is the tricky part with any seamed model. The fabric proves generous in length and elastic enough to adjust without resistance, and once settled the seam holds its line cleanly down the calf.
For styling she suggests a short skirt and a light blouse as the obvious daytime pairing, then changes into a bolder playsuit for the second look, something for an evening out or an aperitivo. Black and red turn out to work particularly well with this model, and with simple heels the back seam and the embroidered detail stay fully visible as she moves.

Her verdict is positive across the board: soft, comfortable, easy to wear, with a design element that lifts them well above a standard sheer black pair. The Fidele is approved without reservations, and Marla closes by asking viewers what they make of the faux zipper detail.
