Maquiavélica Black and White Fishnet Tights Review | Luna & Marine x Es Glamísima!

Watch Luna and Marine’s full review of the Maquiavélica patterned fishnet tights, filmed in 4K for Es Glamísima. In this dual review the two Buenos Aires presenters test the same design in two different colours, black and white, and build four complete outfits around them.

Maquiavélica is an Argentinian brand based in the province of Córdoba, and this particular model is a clear step away from what Luna and Marine usually pick for the channel. The construction is a mesh built from several different net patterns arranged in vertical strips running the full length of the leg, with decorative bands worked into the design. The overall effect reads closer to lace than to a conventional fishnet, and neither of them can quite categorise it, which is exactly why they wanted to try it on camera.

The first thing they notice out of the packaging is the hand feel. Both pairs are unusually soft, and the white one softer still, to the point where they compare the yarn to cotton rather than the synthetic thread they expect from a net style. The knit also feels substantial and warm, which pushes this model towards autumn and winter wear rather than the summer end of the catalogue.

What Luna and Marine highlight about this model:

  • Multi-pattern mesh built in vertical strips, with a lace-like rather than classic fishnet look
  • Vertical lines that visibly lengthen and slim the leg
  • Noticeably soft, warm knit that suits colder months
  • No reinforced toe and no sole panel, which neither presenter found bothersome
  • Narrow cut, but comfortable to wear over a long session
  • Available in the same design across contrasting colours, with black and white tested here

For the first round Luna goes total black: a chiffon dress with a lined bodice, side cutouts with crossed straps, and classic lace-up shoes. The dress is deliberately simple so the tights keep the attention, and the all-black column lets the pattern read clearly against the skin. Marine takes the white pair in the opposite direction, pairing it with a black top, a floral printed skirt with pale accents that echo the hosiery, and high black suede boots. She admits that light tights are outside her comfort zone and that she expected the styling to be harder than it turned out to be.

The second round pushes both looks further apart. Luna picks a fitted dress she jokes belongs to an executive secretary, finished with heels for a strict, office-ready silhouette. Marine goes fully in the other direction with a soft countryside dress printed with woodland animals in warm tones, grounding the sweetness with black boots to keep it from tipping into costume. Between the four options, both presenters end up preferring their first looks.

The review also includes an honest defect report. Marine’s white pair appears to have a manufacturing fault: one of the vertical lines sits crooked and drifts sideways no matter how she adjusts it, and after a long try she concludes it is not a wearing error on her part. She notes that it is barely visible unless you look closely, since the pattern carries so much detail, but it is uncomfortable enough for her to mention it repeatedly rather than gloss over it.

With shoes off, they take a closer look at the toe and seam construction, confirming the absence of any reinforcement, and close with their verdict: original, comfortable, flattering thanks to the vertical structure, and strong enough to lift any outfit. They also put the question to viewers, asking which of the four looks works best and whether light or dark tights get the vote.

Overall both presenters were enthusiastic about the design and the softness of the material, and each said her favourite look of the day was the first outfit pairing. Marine expressed satisfaction with the stockings despite the alignment issue, and Luna noted she had stepped outside her usual comfort zone with the white colour and was pleased with the result. The vertical patterned design was highlighted as something that works well with short skirts and dresses, and as a statement piece capable of elevating a simple outfit.
