Watch Anabel’s full review of the DirtyLove fuchsia pantyhose, filmed in 4K for Es Glamísima. In this review Anabel de la Luna tests the fit, the softness and the styling range of a deliberately simple pair, and finds that colour alone can carry an entire look.
Fuchsia is not a neutral choice, and Anabel makes no secret of the fact that it is one of her personal favourites. She points out that the shade turns up all over her house, from her everyday mug to her pyjamas to her toothbrush, and that it works particularly well against blonde hair. More than that, she frames it as a mood colour: vibrant, cheerful, the kind of thing you reach for when you want to lift the day rather than blend into it.
The pantyhose themselves are as plain as they come. There are no decorative seams, no patterns and no reinforcements to inspect, just a clean knit with a simple elastic finish at the top of the leg. Anabel checks where they land as she pulls them on, since she bought them expecting a certain reach, and confirms they sit above the knee. Simplicity, as she puts it, brings simplicity: they go on effortlessly and glide up without any resistance.
What stands out in Anabel’s hands-on test:
- Intense fuchsia colour with a soft, semi-opaque finish rather than a full sheer
- Completely plain construction, no patterns, seams or decorative details
- Very soft to the touch, with a hand feel she compares to a cotton blend
- Easy to slide on and adjust, with no scratchy or overheating sensation
- A practical option for anyone who finds pure nylon uncomfortable or irritating
- Everyday quality rather than luxury, and priced and positioned accordingly
For the first look she pairs them with a printed blouse cut low and wide open at the back, plus a black faux-leather pleated mini skirt and her glasses to finish the outfit. The result is young, playful and completely wearable for an afternoon out, whether that means tea, a drink or a plate of tapas. She notes that they would work equally well with flats, platforms or her usual stilettos, which she considers the strongest pairing of the three.
The second look moves into a fuller velvet skirt in a shade from the same family, layered under a more formal top with triangular ruffles across the chest. Anabel uses it to make a point about colour theory: as long as you stay inside the same palette, the exact gradation matters far less than people think, and the contrast between a formal top and a playful skirt and hosiery combination is what gives the outfit its character.

Her honest verdict is that this is not a luxury product, and she says so plainly. It is an everyday piece, bought at a local shop in Mar del Plata, without a composition label to inspect. What it delivers instead is softness, comfort and a colour with enough energy to rescue any outfit, which is exactly what she was looking for when she picked it out.
