Goldenpoint is an Italian retailer specializing in hosiery, underwear, nightwear and swimwear, founded in 2001. With a network of around 380 stores, most of them directly operated, it has become one of the most recognized Italian names in legwear, and OVS has signed a binding agreement to acquire the brand in stages.
In this review, Silvia unpacks a pair of 8 denier tights in a shade slightly darker than nude, a color she suggests for the spring and summer months. Once out of the package, the tights reveal a very simple construction: fully sheer from top to toe, with a small protective gusset, no side seams and only a discreet seam along the toe.
The first outfit pairs the tights with a long-sleeved nude top in a sheer, tulle-like fabric and a black leather skirt with distinctive front lacing. Silvia completes the look with tall black stiletto boots from her own wardrobe. On camera the tights become almost imperceptible, blending with the natural color of the leg and creating a soft, transparent finish that she says you barely notice wearing.
Silvia points out that since these are regular tights and not hold-ups, they work equally well with short or long skirts. She also appreciates the regular-rise waistband, which she finds far more comfortable than high-waisted models, and the absence of side seams, which keeps the fit smooth and elastic along the leg.
In the seated test, the tights stay firmly in place and do not shift, delivering a true second-skin effect. Silvia notes that, being so light in denier, a small snag appeared in one spot after handling them a little carelessly, something worth keeping in mind with very sheer styles.
For the second look, Silvia switches to a light, high-waisted cotton skirt fitted at the hips, a short sheer black top and black patent pumps. This outfit shows that the tights work just as well with closed shoes as with sandals, and can be styled with pumps, ankle boots or boots, for both daytime and evening.
Removing her shoes, Silvia shows the foot area in detail: the sheer effect continues all the way down, with no pattern under the sole and just a tiny seam at the end of the foot, which may move slightly during wear but is easy to adjust. The tights neither squeeze nor leave marks.
