Watch Honey’s full review of the Veneziana nude fishnet hold-ups. In this Glamissima video review, Honey tests the fit, the hold of the silicone band, the comfort and the overall quality of this fishnet style, worn in two complete outfits.
Veneziana is a Polish hosiery brand with a broad catalogue that covers sheer and opaque tights, stockings, hold-ups and patterned legwear, offered in a wide range of colors and sizes. This is the first time Honey has tried the brand, which makes the review a genuine first impression rather than a comparison with previous purchases.
The pair tested here is a small-gauge fishnet in nude, size 3/4. Honey opens the review by addressing the shade: on a darker skin tone a classic nude usually reads lighter than the leg and leaves a visible contrast, something she notices immediately when stretching the net over her arm. The test is therefore also about whether a nude fishnet can be styled convincingly on her complexion.
Out of the packaging, the key details are:
- Small, very soft fishnet that feels pleasant on the skin and does not itch
- Silicone band with a remarkably strong grip, firmly closed when new
- Size 3/4, with no excess fabric on the foot or around the ankles
- Single sturdy toe seam covering all the toes, with the sole left completely free
- Also available in black and burgundy
The first outfit is a youthful summer look: a button-front dress, worn with the last button undone, and nude heels that match the hold-ups. The lace top stays mostly hidden under the dress and only shows slightly when walking. Honey admits the color works better than she feared, and the tone-on-tone pairing with the shoes helps tie the look together. She also likes that the tattoo on her foot stays visible through the net.
The second outfit is a bolder choice: a long macramé dress with side slits, originally bought for a beach wedding. Here the band sits exactly in line with the slits and remains on show on both sides. Pairing macramé with fishnet is a risk, but with the same nude heels the result is coherent and, by her own account, possibly the better of the two.
On performance, the band is the standout. It does not move at all while walking, sitting or crossing the legs, and removing it takes real effort. Honey calls it the strongest and best made band she has ever tried, while noting that it never feels tight. She also points out that her shoes do not slip, which is far from a given with hosiery and makes walking noticeably more comfortable.

Her verdict is fully positive: a very good first experience with Veneziana, a product she would buy again, possibly in black or burgundy, and a recommended nude option for darker skin tones.
