Lube notes that at the knee the fabric appears slightly lighter, stretching out to a less dense look than expected for 40 denier, which she attributes to the tension being distributed unevenly across her leg.

Lube pairs the tights with two outfits during the review. The first is a printed mini dress in a vintage style, which she feels works well for daytime or an afternoon outing. The second is a half-red, half-black draped bodycon dress that she considers more suited to an evening or going out dancing. In both cases she feels the fishnet section adds visual contrast and a retro edge.

Lube suggests that going up to size three might relieve some of the tension on the mesh and could reduce the risk of early tearing. She also reflects that a finer, small-hole fishnet construction would likely be far more resistant while producing a similar visual effect on the leg.

Overall, Lube says she is not fully satisfied with these tights. She considers them wearable for a single occasion at most, but is cautious about recommending them for repeated use given how quickly the fishnet portion deteriorated. The verdict points to the large mesh as the weak point, and she would look at alternative fishnet styles before returning to this particular construction from Veneziana.
