Watch Brunella’s full review of the Chilirose hold-up stockings in nude. In this Glamissima video review, Brunella tests the fit, comfort and overall quality of these silicone-band hold-ups, styling them in two complete outfits.
Chilirose is an Italian lingerie and hosiery brand, and this model arrived for the review directly from Amazon. The product comes in a single S/L size and in a nude shade, packaged in the brand’s classic pouch together with a small leaflet presenting the rest of the collection. What immediately catches Brunella’s attention is the top construction: a double silicone band designed to keep the stockings firmly in place without any need for a suspender belt.
An interesting detail emerges as soon as Brunella puts them on: these are not ordinary hold-ups. They rise noticeably higher than a classic hold-up, reaching almost all the way up the thigh, which technically makes them closer to over-knee parigine stockings. Combined with the double silicone band, this construction proves remarkably stable: walking, moving around and sitting down, the stockings never slide or shift, which Brunella highlights as one of the strongest points of the whole product.
For the first outfit, Brunella pairs the hold-ups with a black minidress from Shein and ankle boots from Zalando. She deliberately avoided black stockings here: an all-black look would have felt too heavy, while the nude leg introduces a brighter, more luminous contrast that she finds much more pleasing. For the second look she switches to a red dress, also from Shein, pushing the contrast even further and letting the nude stockings stand out against the vivid color.
Comfort is where these Chilirose hold-ups collect their best marks. The fabric feels very soft and smooth to the touch, with none of the roughness that some hold-ups can have. The toe seam, although visible and seemingly doubled, is completely imperceptible on the foot, both barefoot and inside shoes. On sizing, Brunella wears a size S and finds the fit spot on: the band holds without squeezing. In her opinion the single S/L size works perfectly for S and M, while ladies wearing a size L might find the top section a little snug.
The only real reservation concerns the color. Brunella expected a more natural, skin-like nude, while the actual shade leans clearly towards beige and tends to cover the natural tone of the leg rather than enhance it. It is not a dealbreaker, and she notes that the shade could actually work better on slightly darker complexions, but if you are after a truly invisible second-skin effect, this is worth knowing before ordering.
Here is a quick recap of what stood out during the review:
- Double silicone band that keeps the stockings perfectly in place, no suspender belt needed
- Extra-high cut, closer to over-knee parigine stockings than classic hold-ups
- Very soft, smooth fabric with no roughness to the touch
- Toe seam present but completely imperceptible, with or without shoes
- Single S/L size: ideal for S and M, possibly snug for size L
- Nude shade leaning towards beige, better suited to slightly darker skin tones
In her final verdict, Brunella confirms that these Chilirose hold-ups won her over on comfort, softness and stability, and she happily recommends them despite the color not matching her expectations. If the beige-leaning nude works with your skin tone, or your outfit covers the top band anyway, this is a practical and comfortable hold-up that simply stays where it should.
