Fede and Honey review two Ballerina’s Secret black sheer pantyhose with decorative leg designs, testing fit, comfort, toe seam and finish across two outfits each.
Both pairs belong to Ballerina’s Secret Be Magnetic collection, produced in Poland and sold in S/M and L/XL. Fede picked Art. 564, a 20 denier black sheer pantyhose with a wine-red embroidered motif that sits high on the thigh and continues along the back of the leg. Honey chose Art. 567, also 20 denier, in a tone-on-tone version: 79% polyamide, 18% Lycra elastane and 3% cotton, with a knitted back seam and a black-on-black ornamental design that gives a faux suspender effect at the top of the thigh, with a fine line running down to the ankle. A small heart detail appears in both designs, and on both pairs the pattern is knitted into the fabric on the front as well as the back, something the two presenters check together on the packaging before opening it.
In the video, Fede and Honey unbox their pairs side by side, comment on the brand’s embossed gold-foil packaging and put the pantyhose on together. Both note how thin the fabric is and admit to being worried about snagging it while pulling it up, but neither pulls a single thread. Once on, they check the alignment of the back seam, the way the design sits on the leg, and how much of the pattern is actually visible when standing, walking and sitting down.
Each presenter then shows two complete outfits. Fede builds her second look around the colour of the embroidery, with an open-back dress that leaves the waistband completely invisible even when the pantyhose is pulled up high. Honey pairs hers with a brightly printed dress, a deliberately playful match that keeps the tone-on-tone design almost hidden: it only shows at the back while walking, and the front detail has to be revealed by lifting the hem, exactly where a suspender clip would normally sit. The final section is shot seated, with both of them removing their shoes to show the toe area in detail.
Practical findings from the review:
- Very sheer and light fabric at 20 denier, glossy and smooth, described by both as a second skin
- No creases or wrinkles at the ankle or behind the knee, and the design does not distort when seated
- Comfortable at low waist height as well as pulled up high, with no pressure on the waistband
- The raised design is not noticeable to the touch and cannot be felt while walking
- Reinforced toe with a seam that stays in place and does not rotate during wear
- Toe reinforcement covers the toes, so the model works best with closed shoes; Fede wore closed pumps, Honey chose open sandals and found the reinforcement visible but not distracting, since it is not overly dark
- The black tone works equally well on both presenters’ skin tones

Both presenters close on the same verdict: an excellent product with a perfect fit, worth buying again. Honey, who normally uses dark opaque tights, confirms she would wear these regularly, while Fede points out that this particular black changed her mind about sheer black hosiery after a previous review where she had been less convinced. Both models retail at around 18 euros directly from the manufacturer, which places them in Ballerina’s mid-range rather than at the top of the line.
