Watch Felicia’s full review of the Canela black tights, her second test of this brand on Es Glamísima. After a first experience that left her with mixed feelings, she decided to give Canela another chance, this time choosing a simpler model with no decorative details.
The packaging is the first thing Felicia comments on, and not with much enthusiasm. It is plain and almost corporate, with nothing that suggests lingerie or hosiery: it could be the box for any product. On the positive side, it opens without being torn, so it can be reused to store the tights afterwards.
Felicia usually goes for more elaborate hosiery, so this time she wanted to try something basic. To the touch, the fabric is soft but not remarkably so, and she has tried softer ones. She places the quality somewhere in the middle, while noting that the material feels fairly thick, which could make these tights a good option for the first cold days of the season.
One detail she appreciates is the top band. Instead of a lace trim with a silicone strip, the fabric is simply folded over itself to create an elastic edge. Felicia explains that silicone bands tend to feel tight on her and are not very flattering, so a looser finish like this one suits her better.

Felicia tries the tights with two different outfits. With the second look, featuring looser clothing around the waist and hips, she feels they work better than with the fitted skirt from the first outfit. She suggests that a jacket, perhaps a leather one, could complete the look, but admits this is not a style she would wear in everyday life, perhaps only for a special occasion or a themed party.
The real problem appears during the try-on: the tights tear along the side simply from being stretched. Felicia points out that the same thing happened in her previous review of the brand, and that she cannot remember any other hosiery breaking so quickly. She also shows that the toe reinforcement is very light, a detail she considers essential, since friction against the shoe during a night out in heels can quickly ruin a pair without proper reinforcement.
Her verdict is clear: soft and pleasant to the touch, but too delicate and with very little stretch. For Felicia these Canela tights deserve a 5, the same score she gave the brand in her previous review, and for the same reason.
