Watch Chiara Kia’s full review of the Vianda suspender tights. In this Glamissima video review, Chiara tests the fit, shine, comfort and overall quality of this glossy black hosiery model with an integrated suspender design.

These tights arrived directly from Amazon in the most minimal packaging imaginable: a plain plastic bag inside another plastic bag, with a label written entirely in German. As Chiara jokes at the start of the video, the only two words she can actually decipher on the tag are “straps” and “sexy”, which at least gives a fairly accurate idea of what to expect. There is no fabric composition printed anywhere on the packaging, no denier indication and no washing instructions in any language she can read, so the product presentation is essentially non-existent.
The design itself is more interesting than the packaging suggests. These are fully opaque black tights built to imitate stockings worn with a suspender belt, but with everything integrated into a single garment. Chiara points out how practical this is for anyone who hates constantly clipping and unclipping real suspender straps, which over time tend to tear the stockings they are supposed to hold up. The upper section combines a violet suspender pattern with bright red trim, a color contrast that becomes one of the recurring styling questions of the entire review.
On close inspection Chiara finds a mixed picture in terms of construction. The most striking detail is the finish of the fabric: an intense glossy, almost wet-look shine that she admits looks like a budget product but genuinely wins her over, especially when styled deliberately. Here are the key points she highlights while examining the tights on camera:
- Fully opaque black legs with a subtle horizontal stripe texture, visible only from very close up
- Strong wet-look shine across the whole leg, with an almost latex-like effect
- Reinforced toe seams, a real plus for durability with longer nails or closed shoes
- Elastic side seams on the upper section, a good construction choice
- Weak external stitching on the suspender straps, with wide 4 to 5 mm stitches that start opening on the very first wear
- A distinct “party balloon” smell straight out of the bag, which strongly suggests a fully synthetic composition
Chiara styles the tights in two completely different ways. The first outfit is a sportier look with shorts that cover the suspender section and the red trim, neutralizing the clash between the fire red details and the bordeaux tones of the rest of the look. Worn this way, with the contrast hidden, she finds the tights surprisingly wearable. The second outfit takes the opposite approach: a black open-back dress with white accents, red lingerie in the exact same shade as the tights’ trim, and red heels chosen to echo the color instead of hiding it.
It is in this second look that the review gets most interesting. Chiara openly admits that open-toe shoes should never, ever be worn with dark opaque tights, but since the whole combination is already so bold she leans into it. The result is what she describes as a “single boot” effect: the glossy tights and the shiny red shoes merge visually into one continuous object, almost like a latex boot, with a vaguely fetish character that she finds unexpectedly convincing. Her only refinement would be red nail polish on the toes instead of her near-black shade, to complete the color story.
Her final verdict is honest and entertaining. The packaging is terrible, the labels are useless, the stitching quality raises real durability concerns, and the tights are extremely hot to wear, which makes them a questionable choice in the middle of summer. At the same time the aesthetic payoff is real: the shine, the integrated suspender look and the styling potential make them a fun, daring piece for anyone who wants to attract attention. Chiara closes by asking viewers which look they preferred, the casual one with shorts or the full red and black evening styling.
