Silvia reviews a pair of Gi&Gi black tights in a 40 denier sheer knit, decorated with a continuous motif of small stars and dots that runs along the entire leg. She chose this model for two reasons: the weight promised something light and easy to wear, and the decoration makes it clearly different from a plain black pair.

Out of the package the first impression is confirmed. The knit is light and semi transparent, as expected from a 40 denier, while the panty section is noticeably thicker and more structured. The star and dot pattern is distributed evenly from the top of the leg down to the toes, and according to Silvia it works equally well with open sandals and with closed shoes.

For the first outfit Silvia pairs the tights with a pink sleeveless cotton top and a black skirt with red flowers, finished with black patent court shoes and a golden ankle strap. The result is a balanced look where the pattern of the tights picks up the print of the skirt without competing with it. The density sits in the middle ground: not too opaque, not too sheer, which is exactly what makes the model easy to combine with closed footwear.

Fit and adherence are among the strongest points of this pair. The tights follow the leg closely without any pulling, the waistband sits high and stays comfortable rather than squeezing, and the overall feel on the skin is soft. Silvia notes that the fabric quality feels genuinely solid for this price segment.

The second outfit moves towards a warmer season register: a pink faux leather skirt with a button front blouse, keeping the same shoes as before. The colour contrast between the pink and the black patterned legs gives the look a summery tone. Silvia points out one practical detail here, the high waistband can peek out from under a very short skirt, so a higher waisted bottom is the safer choice if you want to keep it completely hidden.

The seated segment focuses on construction. There are no side seams along the leg, only a very thin seam at the toe, so thin that it cannot be felt while wearing them. The pattern continues across the foot and underneath it, which is an unusual level of detail for this category, and the absence of lateral seams makes the model noticeably more comfortable than seamed alternatives. Silvia also notes that the lightness of the knit has a downside: a few small marks appeared during the session, so the tights snag fairly easily and need to be handled with some care.
